Overview

Popeppi is the lovable pink mascot of the Shabble Dabble channel! He acts as the main voice of the channel, being spoken through by me, Shobble Dobble, whenever OBS gets going. When I'm not controlling him, he spends most of his time fooling around and getting in trouble for meaningless things like eating balloons, loudly reciting prime number-related scripture in the middle of assemblies, etc. Overall, he's really quite the character!

In-Universe History

Popeppi was created by Baldi using a clone machine, combining Baldi's BNA (baldoxyribonucleic acid) with a pink 5-shaped balloon. Combining him with a prime number-shaped balloon like that may or may not have given Popeppi an unhealthy obsession with prime numbers. I'm not too sure, though. Baldi made Popeppi to replace Retro Popeppi after he returned from the Great BaldiWar in a shrunken state, as well as to have a Popeppi in the physical world and not just digitally like Retro Popeppi.

After his creation, it took a while for me to establish a strong enough connection to him to speak through him, so Shabble Dabble stayed without commentary for a little while until the V0.5 days. Nowadays, Popeppi lives a life of relative luxury, only having control of his body ripped from him some of the time, and otherwise spending his time relaxing and hanging out with his friends and fellow Baldi clones.

Why'd You Make Them?

For Popeppi's origin as a character of my creation, I just thought it'd be interesting to have a pink Baldi OC, since I'd never seen anyone else make one before. Of course, the reason I needed a recoloured version of Baldi in the first place was because of how derivative of Baldi Seed Completionist's content the channel was back in the day. He had a blue Baldi, so why not have a pink one for my own very original and inspired seedrunning series? Later on, I gave Popeppi some accessories like a party hat and bow tie to make him a bit more unique, differentiating him not only from other creators, but also from the other Shabble Dabble characters that had been introduced after him.

Trivia

• Popeppi's favourite number is 5. It's unknown whether this came from him being made from a 5-shaped balloon or if it's just a coincidence.
• To be completely honest, I don't remember the origin of Popeppi's name. It might've been based on a name like Giuseppe, or even Peppino from Pizza Tower, but that's just my assumption.
• Popeppi's colour scheme is inconsistent between his 3D model and 2D artwork. Why is this? Uh... Look over there! It's me making a video on a popular mod or something! Heh, that'll get 'em! Dude, I'm so smart it's actually insane...
